Theassignment
Liiisten. Our girl asked for one thing for her 21st: Drink Around the World at EPCOT. So we're not doing it small.
Get the family to Kissimmee. Take over a big house. Ride together in one van so nobody has to drive. And on February 9th, we drink around the world.
I'm not playing games with the money, either. Every number and every due date is on this page, and the more of us that lock in, the cheaper the van gets for everybody.

Transportation
We're renting a 20-passenger van with a professional driver. It's about 1,100 miles and roughly 16 hours each way, and none of it is on you.
The van stays with us all week for Disney Springs and EPCOT. Nobody drives, nobody parks, and on a drinking birthday, nobody is the designated driver.
The damage
Per person, ages 9 and up. Kids under 9 are free for the house and van.
Drink aroundthe world
Eleven countries around EPCOT's World Showcase, one drink in each, in order. Water between every stop. Kids and non-drinkers do the same walk with the snack booths, and everybody gets pictures.

Park ticket
You only need a standard Walt Disney World theme park ticket for EPCOT on Tuesday, Feb 9. Drink Around the World isn't a separate ticket. If you're using an annual pass, make a park reservation for that day too.
Drink costs
You buy your own drink at each of the 11 country pavilions as you go.
Total budget
Plan on about $120–$160 per person for one alcoholic drink at all 11 stops.
Bring your ID
Everybody drinking needs to be 21 and carry a photo ID. They will card you.
Your share
Your $150 house share plus your van share. That's the whole trip: house and ride, Austin and back.
How to pay
Put in the memo so we can match it to you. Your status on the list updates once we log it.
Can't come but still want to chip in? Gifts go toward the trip, same Cash App. Put in the memo so we know it's a gift. Want to send Bri something personal? Hit her up directly.
Who allover there?
Because I need to know who all coming before I say I'm coming.
Questionsanswered
Do I need a special ticket for Drink Around the World?
No. A standard theme park ticket for EPCOT on Feb 9 is all you need, and you buy drinks as you go. Annual passholders also need a park reservation for that day.
Can people under 21 come to EPCOT?
Yes. Anyone with a park ticket can come. You just have to be 21 with a photo ID to buy or drink alcohol. Under-21s walk the same route, hit the food booths, and are in every picture. And no passing drinks to anybody under 21. Disney watches for that.
Do kids pay?
Kids under 9 are free for the house and the van. Anyone going into EPCOT still needs a park ticket, and Disney is free for kids under 3.
When is everything due?
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. It's broken into three payments: your house share as the deposit, then your van share in two halves.
Is $500 the final price?
Not yet. The $150 house share is set. The van is still an estimate while we shop for the best rate, so that part can move. We'll update this page as soon as it's final. Your deposit is the house share, so you can lock in now.
What if I pay and then can't make it?
Can I drive myself instead of riding in the van?
Talk to Dani first. We're pricing the van by how many people ride, so we need to know before the van gets booked.
What should I pack?
Swimsuit, comfortable walking shoes for EPCOT, a pillow and blanket for the ride, your birthday fit, and your photo ID if you're drinking.
